1. They log onto the old domain name.
2. You send a splash page saying the domain name has changed, there info is
being updated. Make this page sticky! [Don't want them wandering off].
3. While they are waiting, grab info off your server that matches the old
cookie, write a new cookie and deliver to their PC, flag the record on your
server that they have been updated.
Nice to have a reason to hit visitors with a splash page of new info -
don't waste it!
Also you aren't slurping the cookie info - your slurping the info on your
server - thus you have an out for the "cookies are meant to be info for one
domain" debate if you have to engage in it.
